Understanding approval status

Every testimonial submitted through your collection form starts as Pending. Pending testimonials are not shown in your widgets or displayed publicly. This gives you full control over what appears on your website — so you can review each submission before it goes live.

How to Approve a Testimonial


One at a time:

  1. Go to Spaces → click into your space (or go to Testimonials)

  2. Find the testimonial

  3. Click the checkmark icon on the card to approve it



In bulk:

  1. Select testimonials by clicking on each card

  2. An action bar appears at the bottom of the screen

  3. Click Approve



How to Un-approve a Testimonial


Click the X icon on an already approved testimonial card, or choose Unapprove in the action bar. This will return it to Pending status and remove it from your widgets.


Auto-Approve for Imports


When importing testimonials from external platforms (Trustpilot, G2, etc.), you'll see a toggle called Auto-approve. Turning this on marks all imported testimonials as approved immediately — useful when you already trust the source.


Auto-approve is available during the import flow only. Testimonials submitted via your collection form always start as Pending.

Viewing Only Pending Testimonials


Use the Status filter (set to Pending) on the Testimonials page or inside any space to see only testimonials that need your review.
